This site is ideally for people that remember the comics of the eighties and beyond and want to either reminise or complete their collection.  I've recently completed all the sets and I want to help others complete theirs.

The Commander is dead!!

Let the Cobra Civil War Commence!!!
 Okay, I've left it a couple of months now; so I think I'm okay to start placing spoilers on here.  The April and May solicitations would pretty much be a kind of give it away anyway!
 
The major plot twist in Cobra issue 12 has completely turned the entire IDW continuity on it's head and it all kicks off with the launch of GI Joe season 2 in April.  With Cobra Commander dead the fight for leadership begins as Civil War breaks out within the ranks of Cobra.  Unfortunately GI Joe won't know what's hit them as the leadership contenders fight for the highest Joe kill-count!!
 
It all starts with an issue 0 (below) 10 page introduction for the relaunch of the Joe and Cobra series along with the new Snake-Eyes series in April.


In May, all the new series will launch with 3 covers, each depicting an image of the 9 leadership contenders holding Cobra Commander's helmet.

GI Joe's IDW World Gets Invaded 


Starting in January, IDW's Zombies Vs Robots series starts a reality hopping adventure that will find the walking dead seeping into the world's of GI Joe, Star Trek, Transformers and Ghostbusters.  It kicks off with Infestation Issue 1 in January and followed in February with Infestation:Transformers 1 & 2 and Infestation:Star Trek 1 & 2.  Infestation: GI Joe 1 & 2 and Infestation:Ghostbusters 1 & 2 are due in March with Infestations Issue 2 capping off the series in April.
The series marks the first time that IDW has attempted to crossover various licensed titles currently with the company and is the first time that GI Joe has crossed over with any other series other than Transformers.

Action Force Monthly Issue 16 Found???  Help Required!!!


I've recently managed to get hold of the above artwork recently on ebay.  As it doesn't match any other Action Force work, we're presuming that this is a part of issue 16 of Action Force Monthly / GI Joe European Missions that never saw print.  The markings in the top left hand corner say 7, Action Force (Fatal Distraction).

Checking with other comics, I think the artist may be regular artist Robin Smith. We're looking to see if anybody has any other pieces of artwork from this unreleased story or have hold of a script named 'Fatal Distraction', We're making an effort to see if we can piece together this story and release an exclusive AF / GI Joe exclusive story never before seen.
